✧ Will As a rest activity, roll Compel to enchant a light or heavy shield, a club, or a mace—or your own head—with magical sunlight. ✦ 5+ The rounded bulk of the armament—or the area around your head—glows brightly, like the disc of the sun itself. You can freely cast the Light Magic spells ◮Illuminate and ◮Flash (without focus advantage) until the sun rises and sets. If you're a Light Sorcerer, you can Focus light magic while holding the object—you don’t need free hands.⬖ 3–4 You can take -1 spirit at the end of your rest to succeed; otherwise:ⓧ 1–2 The object (or your head) glimmers briefly but stays dark.The light can be any color you like, and you can change its color, direction, and intensity as you like, as in the ◮Illuminate spell. Covering the object or your head with an opaque material extinguishes the light, as does destroying the object or knocking you unconscious.If you're a Sorcerer and you enchant a shield or mace with this ability, you can wield the armament while casting Focus Light Magic—that is, you don't need two hands free to focus and cast light magic spells while this ability is active.✪ Grace of the Aureole
