While in your hometown or a settlement that you've spent at least one Downtime in, you can take -1 awareness after you make any Maneuver roll and describe how a familiar feature of the settlement helps you maneuver. The Guide awards you a special advantage die, ranging in size from a d4 to a d8, based on how evocative your description is. Roll this die along with your Maneuver die and use the higher result.
